The host at Gasthaus Zum Sternen was incredibly warm and friendly. He went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable, even offering to carry our bags and giving us a lift to the train station. Having his own family around created a pleasant atmosphere. The room was clean, cheerful, and had a lovely view from the window. The sound of the nearby river was so relaxing. The breakfast served was excellent, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations.

We and our pals had a total blast in Andermatt. First off, the location was insane! We were just a hop, skip, and a jump away from the slopes, so we shredded some serious powder while skiing. And when we weren't carving up the mountains, we were tearing it up on our bikes, thanks to the convenient bicycle storage. Plus, the food was off the charts! We chowed down on some seriously delicious grub that gave us all the energy we needed for our adventures. It was the ultimate basecamp for thrill-seeking teens like us!
Okay, okay, I gotta be real. There was one tiny bummer.

The highlight of our stay was definitely the dinner at the in-house restaurant. We indulged in the local specialties of raclette and fondue, and oh boy, it was like a cheesy symphony dancing on our taste buds. The flavors melted together in perfect harmony, leaving us craving for more and feeling as satisfied as a contented cat basking in the sun.
No in-room coffee/tea.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the shower in the bathroom was lovely and powerful. The staff were friendly and efficient, always ready to assist. The hotel is located in the center of Andermatt, close to the supermarket and in the heart of the old town. The breakfast provided was generous, with fresh and delicious options. I also enjoyed the meals at the hotel's restaurant, especially the rostis. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this place.
Nothing, it was perfect.
